My Pastor’s Recommendation

Dear Pastor,

             I am writing to highly recommend David and Michelle Lewis as missionaries sent out of Patuxent Baptist Church. David and Michelle began coming to Patuxent Baptist Church in April of 1996. After salvation they grew in the Lord and became excited about the things of God and came to the place where they surrendered to the Lord’s will for their life and are ready to serve as missionaries in Romania. David and Michelle have served in various areas of ministry within our church including: Kid’s for Christ Bible Club, which they wrote and directed, Sunday School Teachers, Singles Director,  and Trustee to name a few. David has also completed a bachelor degree through Independent Baptist Bible College while attentively seeing to his duties at church.

             They are a loving family; a dedicated mother and father whose love for each other is very evident. They are a solid family with high Biblical standards who love the Lord. They are devoted laborers for the Lord with a servant’s heart.

             I knew a missionary that felt called to Romania and went over for a survey missions trip and returned knowing that he could not live in those conditions. The Lewis’ took such a trip and returned with a love of the people and a conformation that this is where the Lord would have them serve.
