Dear Pastor,

             During a trip to Romania, we witnessed many wonderful people who were hungry for the Word of God.  The evidence of the Romanian Orthodox Church and other false religions misguiding the people was prominent.  It is imperative that the Romanian people are rescued from these empty religions, while there is still time.       

My name is David Lewis and my family and I are church planting missionaries on deputation to Romania.  We are sent out by the Patuxent Baptist Church in Great Mills, Maryland and are serving under Baptist International Missions  Inc. (BIMI) of Chattanooga, Tennessee.  We are on full-time deputation and are currently scheduling meetings for 2008 and 2009.

As you seek to take on new missionaries, we would count it an honor to share our burden for Romania with you and your Church Family.  We are seeking both prayer and financial support.  I have several meetings already scheduled and we will be in your area a couple of times this year.

There is a tremendous need to reach Romanians with the Gospel, while the doors remain open.  Our prayer is that God would allow us to partner with missions-minded churches like yours and help fulfill the Great Commission.  May God richly bless you as you continue to serve Him.
